Jolt Energy GmbH is a Boston, Dublin and Munich-based company founded in 2018 by a team of automotive and power engineering managers with the goal of breaking the traditional conventions of urban charging. At JOLT, we believe that e-mobility will only be successful if sufficient fast charging options are available. Our company is building a network of ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles in European and North American cities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EV Infrastructure Program Manager (m/f/d) to join our team and lead the rollout of JOLT EV charging infrastructure in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and construction project management, an understanding of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and experience in implementing EV charging solutions.
The successful Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and delivery for all projects in Sweden. He or She will work closely with cross-functional teams including the country sales manager or account manager and the global operations and technology teams to ensure project success, manage risks, and deliver a portfolio of projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Main tasks:
- Build outsourced project management and implementation capabilities in Stockholm, Sweden. Develop and manage relationships with project management and implementation vendors. Negotiate contracts and manage delivery.
- Coordinate with JOLT Account managers and interact with JOLT’s partners on who’s property the chargers are being installed, to ensure cooperation and satisfaction.
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources for electric vehicle charging projects.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, from disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical engineering and IT to ensure project success.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members to ensure they understand their roles, responsibilities, and project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local Swedish regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, or related non-academic experience
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in electric vehicle charging projects or similar electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Swedish electrical power grids, their operators and industry standards related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
